So You Think You Can Dance is back!

Ah, it's that time of year again... when American Idol has finally ended (way to go, David Cook!!!) and So You Think You Can Dance is back.

Between the two shows, I prefer SYTYCD by a long shot. Maybe because I find dancing to be a more impressive skill, since it takes much more commitment and dedication to pull it off successfully, or maybe it's just because it is more visually appealing. Either way, I can't stop watching this show.

Also, the judges panel on this show is not nearly as annoying as on Idol. This show features the two regular judges - one British guy and one female - but the third judge is always a professional choreographer. This panel just seems to know more about what they're judging than the Idol panel does. The fact that not one of them is Randy Jackson also pleases me to no end.
